Join the Mojave Desert Land Trust for a guided hike in the Sand to Snow National Monument this Saturday, December 3 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Volunteers will lead this moderately strenuous hike from Hondo Wash up Black Lava Butte to explore the area’s cultural and natural resources. The hike promises breathtaking views of Hondo Wash and the surrounding Sand to Snow National Monument. Bring a brown bag lunch and be prepared to hike for several hours.
