Spring is in the air, that means it is time to plan for this year’s Grubstake Days celebration, co-sponsored by Z107.7, coming up in May. Teams are being sought for the Tug of War contest, a longtime Grubstake Days tradition. Organizers say teams will have a 1,500-pound weight limit. The event will be held Saturday, May 26, on the carnival grounds at Highway 62 and Hilton at 12:30 p.m. Finals will be held Sunday, May 27. The entry fee is $100 per team.
