Get Prepared for Emergencies at this Saturday’s “Help Yourself, Help Your Neighbor” event on Saturday in Yucca Valley (4/12)

An emergency preparedness event returns to Yucca Valley on Saturday, April 12.

Part of a partnership between the Town of Yucca Valley, the Morongo Basin Community Organizations Active in Disaster (MB COAD) and High Desert Emergency Action Alliance (HDEAA),  the 6th annual “Help Yourself, Help Your Neighbor” Community Preparedness Event will offer opportunities to learn critical emergency preparedness skills through hands-on workshops alongside live demonstrations.

Attendees will also gret to meet local first responders.  The family-friendly event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Walmart parking lot in Yucca Valley located at 58501 Twentynine Palms Highway.  For more information, visit https://hdeaa.org/help-yourself-help-your-neighbor.
