German Shepherd dies from suspected poisoning in Joshua Tree; owner seeks info

A resident in downtown Joshua Tree claims their German Shepherd was poisoned during an attempted break-in, and they are asking the public’s help for any information that can be gathered about the suspected crime. Rue was 4 year old German Shepherd that the owner says was poisoned through a barred window in their garage – located near Center and Commercial St. – sometime on April 25th between 7 PM and 8 AM.

The dog’s owner says the poisoning was done during an attempted break-in.
