Do you get compliments on how good your beard looks? If so, you should enter the Grubstake Days Beard Contest on May 25.
The categories will be full beard, partial beard, freestyle, best groomed, length and the people’s choice. The entry fee is $10 per category and cash prizes will be given to the winner of each category except the people’s choice. Don’t miss out pick up your registration form at the Elite Cosmetology School and the Yucca Valley Chamber of commerce. The deadline for registration is the day of the contest at 12 p.m. Judging begins at 1 p.m. on the Carnival grounds. For more information please call 760-820-8033.
