The Morongo Basin Cultural Arts Commission will hold a reception for the opening of its members’ show on Friday, October 5, from 5 to 8 at Gallery 62 in Joshua Tree. Artists who are participating in the annual Open Studio Art Tours will have one piece of art on display at the gallery Fridays through Sundays from through October 28. The opening reception will feature food, art, and live music. Gallery hours are noon to 3 Fridays and Sundays and 9 to 3 Saturdays.
