Charles Harvey, the director of “First Date, The Musical” says the play “is the perfect date night, whether it’s your first or your thousandth.” The opening night gala begins with hors d’oeuvres served at 6 p.m. and a pre-show silent auction. The curtain will rise at 7 p.m. with desert served at intermission. The tickets are $25 each for opening night ONLY and all proceeds go to service projects in Twentynine Palms and Kiwanis/UNICEF worldwide service projects. The musical will run weekends at the regular ticket price through May 20; for those tickets visit theatre29.org.
