Furstwurld, a music and art space in Joshua Tree founded by Bobby Furst, was closed recently after the county received a complaint.
This fundraiser, produced by Seth Zaharias and Cliffhanger Guides, will raise money for the non-profit organization that oversees Furstwurld through a night of musical performances and an art auction.
Musicians including Los Poncho Tones, featuring the Urban Desert Cabaret, Parker Ainsworth, Jessica Von Rabbit, Jonn Curry, Robbi Robb and Kripa, Rosa Pullman, and Daveed and Machin’ and some wonderful surprises will perform at the Giant Rock Meeting Room Annex in Flamingo Heights.
More than 80 pieces of artwork donated by 50 hi-desert artists, including Randy Palumbo, Diane Best, Bret Philpot, Colleena Hake, Clark Hunter, Cybelle Rowe, Ron Therrio, John Henson, and so many others will be sold via silent and live auctions, with Z1077’s own Gary Daigneault serving as the auctioneer for the latter.
