The second of two Saturday fun swim days at the Yucca Valley pool is set for this Saturday, August 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fun swim will include themed crafts, coloring, and games on the pool deck. Snacks and beverages are available for purchase, but you are welcome to bring coolers and picnic baskets, as well as chairs. Swimmers must wear swim suits in the pool; no exercise or street clothes. Only Coast Guard-approved life vests are allowed in the pool; inflatable rafts and water wings are not allowed. Admission is $4, or $3 with the use of a swim pass. Swim passes include 10 visits for $30 and are available at the pool office or at the community center. The Yucca Valley community pool is located at the high school, 7600 Sage Avenue. Parking and entrance are on Onaga Trail.
