FROM THE SHERIFF’S LOG: ROBBERY AND MULTIPLE WARRANTS

ARREST FOR ROBBERY OF ELDERLY MAN

A woman was arrested Wednesday afternoon, accused of stealing hundreds of dollars from an elderly man. The report states that Stotts asked to see his wallet, and the victim, thinking he was going to help him count it, gave it to her. Stotts then allegedly walked off with his wallet, while yelling and cursing at him. The report states the victim was afraid if he confronted Stotts, she would harm him, but he reported the crime to a friend who called the Sheriff’s Department.
