The comedic drama “From Door to Door” continues at Groves Cabin Theatre through Sunday October 26. This production is directed by multiple Desert Theatre League award winner Wendy Cohen. It features Joy Groves as Bessie – the grandmother, Vicki Montgomery as Mary – the mother, and Phylicia Mason as Deborah – the daughter. Darin Eldridge will handle lighting and sound. The story covers nearly 70 years, from
grandmother Bessie’s escape from murdering Cossacks in Russia to her granddaughter Debbie’s TV deal in Hollywood. The limited seating at the 22-seat theater makes early reservations a must. Groves Cabin Theatre is located at 8768 Desert Willow Trail in Morongo Valley north of Highway 62 (look for the large red, white, and blue stone on the north side of the highway).
