Join Desert Oracle editor, publisher and radio host Ken Layne, as you explore the Mojave Desert’s many mysteries. “Strange Tales From the Desert Oracle” will be an evening of weird tales and folklore, stories of lost mines, strange animals, and weird craft in the skies. Sponsored by the Desert Institute at Joshua Tree National Park and the Twentynine Palms Historical Society, this lecture will be held at the Old Schoolhouse Museum, 6760 National Park Drive, on Friday, February 8 at 7 p.m. in Twentynine Palms. This lecture is open to the public and costs $5 per person at the door.
