A plaque at Freedom Plaza in Twentynine Palms will be dedicated in honor of Retired Sgt. Maj. Ray Wilburn on Thursday (November 10). Retired Sgt. Major Wilburn was a pillar in the community, who served 32 years of honorable and faithful service in the United States Marine Corps, taking part in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
The dedication ceremony is Thursday at 7:45 a.m. at Freedom Plaza, 6547 Freedom Way, Twentynine Palms.
