The next free summer movie in Luckie Park in Twentynine Palms tonight is a fan favorite. Reporter Rebecca Havely has the details…
The City of Twentynine Palms presents the next free summer movie, “The Secret Life of Pets,” sponsored by Z107.7 and other Morongo Basin businesses. The movie begins at 8 p.m. Thursday night, July 13, at Luckie Park on the north side of the racquetball courts. “The Secret Life of Pets” is the story of a spoiled terrier named Max. When his owner adopts a giant unruly dog named Duke, the duo winds up in a truck bound for the pound. They meet a group of ferocious alley cats and a demanding bunny named Snowball who are on a mission against the humans who’ve abandoned them. Tell your family and friends and bring them along with your blankets and lawn chairs to the free showing. Refreshments will be offered by the Twentynine Palms Youth Club.
