Tonight, starting at 8:30 p.m., a free movie will be played at Luckie Park as part of Twentynine Palm’s “Summer movie in the park” event. With his big bucket of popcorn, here’s reporter Andrew Dieleman…
This week’s free summer movie at Luckie Park: Peter Rabbit. Peter and his three rabbit sisters live in Mr. McGregor’s vegetable garden. The rabbits are suddenly no longer welcome when one of McGregor’s relatives moves in. A battle of wills ensues as the new owner attempts to get rid of Peter and his sisters, who prove to be worthy opponents. Bring your friends, family, blankets and lawn chairs. The movie starts tonight, July 12 at 8:30 p.m. on the north side of the racquetball court and is free to attend. Concessions will be available. For more information, contact the Twentynine Palms Recreations department at 760-367-7562.
