Residents who purchase a Yucca Valley dog license can get a free rabies vaccination and microchip for their dog at a special clinic Saturday. The Yucca Valley Animal Shelter will hold the clinic at the shelter from 10 a.m. to noon. License fees vary depending on whether the dog has been spayed or neutered, with discounts available for senior citizens. License fees may be paid by cash or check only. The Yucca Valley Animal Shelter is located at 4755 Malin Way.
