Reach Out in Yucca Valley will offer a free online nutrition education series called Cooking Matters to the Morongo Basin. The program is designed for parents with children up to 5 years old. The class will go over healthy eating habits, how to shop on a budget, provide live cooking demonstrations, and more. The five-week class will include a workbook, activities, a $50 grocery gift card, and a chance to win incentives. The classes will be offered at 2 p.m. Wednesdays or at 10 a.m. Thursdays.
