Tonight, starting at 8:30 p.m., a free movie will be played at Luckie Park as part of Twentynine Palm's “Summer movie in the park” event. With his big bucket of popcorn, here’s reporter Andrew Dieleman…
This week’s free summer movie at Luckie Park: Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Four high school kids are drawn into an old video game, literally becoming the adult avatars they chose. To beat the game and return to the real world, they'll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives and change the way they think about themselves. If they don’t, they'll be stuck in the game forever. Bring your friends, family, blankets and lawn chairs. The movie starts tonight, July 5 at 8:30 p.m. on the north side of the racquetball court and is free to attend. Concessions will be available. For more information, contact the Twentynine Palms Recreations department at 760-367-7562.
