Children with recurrent coughing, wheezing, chest tightness or shortness of breath may have one or more forms of asthma. Join pediatrician Alan Shih, M.D., for a one-hour lecture on childhood asthma on April 2 at 1 p.m. at the Helen Gray Education Center on the hospital campus. Dr. Shih will explain asthma, what you can do to manage your child’s asthma and reduce symptoms, and what the warning signs and patterns for episodes and when emergency care is needed.
