Residents are invited to attend a free health and community resource fair in Yucca Valley Saturday, May 12. The event will include free health screenings; a kids’ zone; food; lectures on topics such as healthy eating on a budget, treating depression, and CPR; and drawings and giveaways. More than 40 community organizations will be on hand with information about resources available in the Morongo Basin. In addition, residents will have the opportunity to donate blood. A free healthy lunch will be provided.
The health fair is sponsored by the Town of Yucca Valley and Morongo Basin Healthcare District and will be held at the Yucca Valley Community Center Saturday, May 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
