Residents are invited to attend a free health and community resource fair in Twentynine Palms Saturday, October 8. The event will include free health screenings, flu vaccinations, a kids’ zone, food, and drawings and giveaways. More than 30 community organizations will be on hand with information about resources available in the Morongo Basin. In addition, residents can donate blood, drop off sharps and medications, as well as tour the Hi-Desert Family Health Clinic. Emergency and military vehicles will also be on display. The health fair is sponsored by the city of Twentynine Palms and the Morongo Basin Healthcare District at Luckie Park, from 10 to 2.
