A limited number of Stater Brothers grocery cards is available through Desert Hills Presbyterian Church to residents of Yucca Valley, Morongo Valley, and Landers who are in need. If you need help, please call Pastor Wayne at 760-365-6331, on Thursday, April 21, from 9 to 11 AM, to reserve a Stater Brothers card. Cards are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis until gone, and they cannot be reserved in advance. Those who call before 9 AM will not be considered. Persons who will be receiving cards will be called back to arrange to pick them up at the church on Friday, April 22. Those who do not receive a call back should try again next month. In the meantime, DHPC is happy to provide lists of the food programs and pantries that are currently operating in our area.
