St. Martin in the Fields Church will host a free gardening class Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon at 72348 Larrea Avenue in Twentynine Palms. Tera Bottorff will teach some basics of composting and desert gardening. There will be a discussion about starting a community garden at St Martin’s.
