The Way Station will distribute hams, produce, Easter baskets and candy, and coloring kits over three days to reduce crowd impact and maintain social distancing. The supplies will be handed out from 9 to 11 a.m. April 7, 8, and 9 at the Way Station in Joshua Tree. Pastor Steve Cook says there will be plenty for everyone, and he asks that people not all come on the first day.
A distribution of free food will be held Tuesday, April 7, at the new Joshua Tree Elementary School, 4950 Sunburst Avenue, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
