A distribution of federal surplus food
at three locations Tuesday, August 20. From 9 to 11 a.m. at Copper
Mountain Mesa Community Center, 65336 Winters Road in Joshua Tree. In
Twentynine Palms, surplus food will be available at the Spirit and
Truth Worship Center, 4751 Adobe Road, from 5 to 7 p.m. In Wonder
Valley, the distribution will begin at 9 a.m. and end at noon at the
Wonder Valley Community Center.
Low-income Wonder Valley
residents self-certify on site. No ID or other documentation is
