Free federal surplus food will be distributed in Twentynine Palms tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The Twentynine Palms Food Pantry will be conducting the USDA give-away every Tuesday after the third Monday of the month. The Joshua Tree community free federal food distribution that was cancelled last Monday—due to vehicle problems—has been rescheduled for Tuesday, August 23, from 9 to 11 a.m. Residents may pick up their food at the Joshua Tree Community Center, 6171 Sunburst Road in Joshua Tree.
