Whether it’s a temper tantrum from Mother Nature or just plain bad luck, disasters happen. Best be ready! Partnering with Morongo Basin COAD, Reach Out Morongo Basin will be hosting the “Be Aware, Be Prepared 29” event on Saturday, June 1.
Sponsored by Southern California Edison, this free family event will teach emergency preparedness with demonstrations and information about food storage, solar energy, first aid kits and emergency planning. CPR will also be taught on-site.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Twentynine Palms Senior Center, 6539 Adobe Road. Food will be provided.
