Families and residents are invited to enjoy fun and healthy activities at the free community health and resource fair, Saturday, October 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Luckie Park—located at the corner of Utah Trail and Joe Davis Drive in Twentynine Palms. More than 40 community vendors will be there providing resources and information. Take advantage of free health screenings for blood pressure, body mass index, and comprehensive diabetes risk analysis. There will be an expanded kids’ zone, featuring fun interactive activities and games, along with food, refreshments, drawings and giveaways, as well as the opportunity to donate blood, tours of the District’s new Mobile Medical Unit, and other family-friendly activities.
