Free Community Cleanup for Twentynine Palms residents at Luckie Park this Saturday (4/5)

The City of Twentynine Palms along with Burrtec Waste and Recycling Services is sponsoring a free community cleanup event at Luckie Park Saturday morning.

They will be accepting household trash, scrap metal, mattresses, yard waste, electronics, appliances, and mixed recycling such as paper, glass, plastic, aluminum, and cardboard will be accepted at the cleanup site.

They will not be collecting tires, construction debris, batteries, or household hazardous waste.

There will also be a compost giveaway (limit of 35 gallons per household while supplies last) and a shred truck on site (limit of four (4) boxes per household).

The event will be in the parking lot of the Luckie Park Activity Center in Twentynine Palms from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. They ask you to enter on Wainwright Avenue.
