The Center for Healthy Generations in Yucca Valley will offer a free class about kidney health Friday, May 4. Managing editor Tami Roleff explains how to sign up…
With chronic kidney disease, the kidneys don’t usually fail all at once. Instead, kidney disease often progresses slowly over a period of years. This is good news because if CKD is caught early, medicines and lifestyle changes may help slow its progress and keep you feeling your best for as long as possible. The Center for Healthy Generations will host a free class about kidney health on Friday, May 4, at 2 p.m. The 90-minute class is taught by certified Kidney Smart instructors who will teach participants how to make more informed choices about diet, insurance, and chronic kidney disease. The Center for Healthy Generations is located at 57121 Sunnyslope Drive in Yucca Valley.
