Free CHP driving class for teens today at 5PM

A free driving class for teens is being held this afternoon by the California Highway Patrol’s Morongo Basin office.

Geared towards teens and new drivers, the class will prepare young drivers with strategies for understanding the dynamics of and avoiding crashes, the consequences of careless driving, and safe driving habits. 

Parents and/or guardians are required to attend with the teen drivers.  Teen attendees will receive a certificate upon completion of the course.  Some insurance companies may offer a discount for participating in the course.
