In honor of Transit Equity Day, the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority is sponsoring free bus fares for everyone boarding San Bernardino County transit providers within the County. Transit Equity Day is celebrated worldwide to mark the birthday of American civil rights activist Rosa Parks.
The Morongo Basin’s own Basin Transit will be participating in Transit Equity Day, with regular routes along 29 Palms Hwy from 29 Palms to Morongo Valley, as well as routes that circle around to Landers as well as the Palm Springs Airport and back.
