Transportation is often a huge barrier when attending college. To help ease the financial burden, the Copper Mountain College Foundation and the Morongo Basin Transit Authority are offering free bus rides anywhere in the Morongo Basin for CMC students this summer. The free rides are offered from June 11 to July 11, and August 20 to September 15. Students must present a current and valid student ID. The program is sponsored by the college Foundation, the MBTA, and grand funding from the County Transportation Authority’s Low Carbon Transit Operations Program.
