Backpacks and school supplies will be given out to homeless and low-income students in the Morongo Basin. The Joshua Tree Sportsman’s Club and the San Bernardino County Schools office are jointly sponsoring the distribution on Monday, August 19, between 9 am and noon, at the Sportman’s Club, 6225 Sunburst in Joshua Tree.
