The Andromeda Society invites the public to a free astronomy night from 8 to 11 p.m. this Friday, June 17, at the Yucca Mesa Community Center, 3133 Balsa Avenue. Take a “walk on the moon” through the club’s Telescopes, or bring your own for a ’scope clinic. Coffee, some refreshments provided. Bring your own chairs, gear, coolers. Sorry, no dogs.
