The Morongo Valley Social Club and Thrift Shop are sponsoring a Fourth of July barbecue and concert tomorrow afternoon at Covington Park. Joey and the J-Hoppers, Venta Lee, and Jim Taylor will perform a country and oldies concert from 2 to 6 p.m. Admission is free, and so is the food, although donations are accepted, as the event is a fundraiser for the Morongo Valley Social Club.
