Fourth graders can enjoy a special program in Joshua Tree National Park this Saturday. Park Ranger Pam Tripp reminds you that fourth graders and everyone in the car with them go to national parks for free…
There is exciting news. Fourth graders are eligible for a free annual pass to all national parks, national forests, and Bureau of Land Management sites. To receive this pass, log onto www.everykidinapark.gov, complete an online game, download a voucher, and present the voucher to any park entrance station or visitor center.
The pass is available to all fourth graders, including home-schooled and free-choice learners ten years of age. This pass allows entry to everyone who arrives in the same vehicle with you, and is good through August 31, 2016. It offers the chance to visit and experience protected lands and the outdoors.
Joshua Tree National Park is offering the following specific events geared toward 4th graders and their families:
Saturday, March 26: 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at Cottonwood
Sunday, April 3: 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at Joshua Tree Visitors Center
Sunday, April 10: 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Oasis Visitors Center
