Four juveniles were arrested in Twentynine Palms, accused of stealing a utility vehicle and a motorcycle. According to Sheriff’s reports, employees from the City of Twentynine Palms notified deputies about 7:30 a.m. that the maintenance barn at Luckie Park had been broken into, and the thieves had stolen a John Deere gator utility vehicle. The thieves then allegedly went into the 74500 block of Joe Davis Drive and stole a 2007 Motocross motorcycle. Through investigation, the deputy contacted four juveniles, who admitted to being at both locations. The juveniles—who were not identified due to their ages—were arrested for investigation of burglary and vehicle theft; two were cited and released to their parents, and the other two were booked into juvenile hall in San Bernardino.
