FOUR INJURED IN SUNDAY MORNING CRASH IN JOHNSON VALLEY

Early information on a Sunday morning crash: At about 11:49 a.m., Morongo Basin Ambulance responded to a crash in Johnson Valley on State Route 247 at the cross of Rattlesnake Canyon Road. Two vehicles were involved—a truck and a sedan. The female driver of the truck, age 32, and her two children—a daughter, 5 months, and son, 2 years—were transported by Morongo Basin Ambulance to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs. The driver of sedan was flown from the scene by Mercy Air, and treated by County Fire units from Lucerne Valley and Yucca Mesa.
