FOUR ARRESTED IN TWENTYNINE PALMS PROSTITUTION STING

Four men were caught up in a prostitution sting in Twentynine Palms Saturday. According to a Sheriff’s press release, deputies from the San Bernardino County Human Trafficking Task Force set up an in-call motel “John” operation, targeting men, or “Johns,” who solicit prostitutes. During the operation, undercover officers posed as prostitutes at a Twentynine Palms motel starting about noon. Four men contacted the fake prostitutes and solicited sex. When the men arrived at the motel, they were arrested for soliciting prostitution, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, cited and released. Three of the men were Marines from the Twentynine Palms Combat Center.
