A former Yucca Valley High School teacher, accused of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student, and whose February trial ended in a mistrial, accepted a plea bargain in Joshua Tree court Friday. Zachary Miller, 34, pleaded guilty to one charge of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor more than three years younger, and one count of attempting to dissuade a witness. In exchange, two other charges of unlawful sex and three felony counts of lewd acts with a minor, stemming from December 2013, were dismissed. Zachary Miller was sentenced to six months in county jail and three years probation. He is set to start serving his sentence on July 17.
