The Twentynine Palms food pantry, known as Feed 29, distributes food Monday through Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Additional hours are the second and fourth Wednesdays from 5 to 6:30 p.m., and the first Saturday of the month from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. To receive food, participants must be a resident of Twentynine Palms, Wonder Valley, or the Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center, and must present proof of residency when picking up food. Each bag of food includes cereal, pasta, sauce, fruit, vegetables, canned meat, soup, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, rice or beans, ramen noodles, eggs, and bread. The food pantry always welcomes donations of cash, food, paper grocery bags, and empty egg cartons.
