The busiest time of year for the staff at Food for Life is ahead as the they plan for the Thanksgiving and Christmas meals. The Thanksgiving meal, the Betty Garrett Memorial Meal, at Little Church of the Desert, is set for 1 to 4 pm. It features turkey, stuffing, and all the fixings. Volunteer help is needed to make both meals a success — Volunteers are the heart of the holiday offerings. Volunteers are needed to cook, set up the hall, serve from 1-4 on Thanksgiving and 3-5 on Christmas, and clean up. Volunteers will need to wear black pants and white shirts.
