Food for Life is gearing up for the holidays and looking for volunteers for the Thanksgiving meal. The meal will be served on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, from 1 to 4 p.m. A traditional meal will be served: turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables, rolls, desserts. If you would like to help, call Teresa Brown at 562-324-9099. Volunteers will be asked to wear black pants/skirts and white tops. The meal will be served at First Baptist Church on Split Rock Road in Twentynine Palms.
