The Community Action Partnership had a problem delivering surplus food for local food banks to distribute to low-income residents in the Morongo Basin on Monday. Deliveries will be made Wednesday (tomorrow) to three food distribution sites: the Yucca Valley Community Center, from 8:30 to 10:30, the Joshua Tree Community Center, from 10 to noon, and Evangelist Mission Church in 29 Palms from 10 to noon.
The Community Action Partnership is working to re-schedule dates and times with other sites that did not distribute food on Monday.
