A new exhibit of folk-inspired art work is debuting tonight at Mara in Twentynine Palms.
The restaurant is opening a new show called Mary Mullaly Early Works, featuring Mullaly’s paintings that are deeply rooted in folk-art traditions and outsider work, but feature modernist influences.
The show runs from April 28 through June 6, an Mara will be hosting an opening party for the exhibit tonight (April 27) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., where the artist will present and the restaurant will host a complimentary whine tasting and small bites buffet.
Mara is located at 73511 Twentynine Palms Highway.
