Five local art galleries will participate in the Art Cruise 29 art crawl in Twentynine Palms on Saturday, May 4. The Twentynine Palms Visitors Center and Art Gallery continues its exhibition of “Birds, Buds, and Bees.” The visitors center, located on Highway 62 at Desert Queen Avenue, is open every day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The 29 Palms Creative Center, 6847 Adobe Road, is open on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Artomotive Gallery, on the corner of Highway 62 and National Park Drive, will have art and refreshments from 3 to 9 p.m.
The 29 Palms Art Gallery, on Cottonwood Drive and National Park Drive, will celebrate a volunteers show featuring work by artist guild members along with work by Trevon “Von” Dinkens. An opening reception is set for 5 to 7 p.m. and the Glass Outhouse will feature work by Paula Long and Janis Commentz. There will also be live music by Hunter and the Wick’d from 5 to 9 p.m. The Glass Outhouse is on Highway 62 about four miles east of Twentynine Palms.
