Five artists have been invited to participate in the 10th anniversary of the Joshua Tree Highlands Artist residency program. The artists will live and work in Joshua Tree for seven weeks, with a final public exhibition of their artwork July 12 at the Joshua Tree Art Gallery. The artists are: sculptor and performance artist Ari Elefterin of New York; sculptor Robert Michael Jones, performance artist Heidi Kayser, and sculptor Tim Murdoch, all of San Diego; and painter Keeley Nelson-Rivers of Seattle.
