Responding to public complaints, Sheriff’s deputies arrested five people Wednesday for investigation of panhandling and public nuisance crimes. Arrested for suspected panhandling were: Tonya Trenholm, 46, of Landers, Paul Garrison, 26, and Bobby Owens, 31, both from of Yucca Valley. Arrested for a warrant for public intoxication was Richard Esquibel, 60, of Yucca Valley; and Michael Proulx, 60, also of Yucca Valley, who was issued a citation for consuming an alcoholic beverage at an “Off-Sale Licensed Location.”
