The Yucca Valley Lady Trojans Soccer Team brought home their first win against Desert Christian Academy, 7-0.
Head Coach Jolene Pessa said the team is already showing signs of improvement as they learn new techniques and become more familiar with their teammates. “We had great ball control in the mid field with quick reactions and smart plays by our defense.”
Goals scored: Rylee Nutter got her hat trick this game by scoring three goals. Macey Decicco had one goal, Loryn Brimhall made two goals, and McKenna Larson scored one goal.
Assists: Rylee Nutter made two assists, and Loryn Brimhall, Haley McGinness, and Amanda Cruz each had one.
Pessa said, “The girls are excited to learn and are eager to improve their skills so we can accomplish our team goals this year. Our next pre-season game for varsity will be hosted by Xavier prep on November 26 at 3:15 p.m.”
